2026 Marconi Memorial Contest HF CW – Final Results

The final results of the 2026 Marconi Memorial Contest HF CW have been published by the ARI Fano contest committee.

The 2026 event marked the 30th edition of the Marconi Memorial Contest, a worldwide CW competition that has been held since 1996.

This year’s contest took place on July 4–5, 2026, with activity on the traditional HF contest bands from 160 through 10 metres.

2026 All-Band Results

In the Single Operator All Band High Power (SOAB-HP) category, HG5D finished first with 1,083 QSOs, 244 multipliers and 264,252 points.

E7Y took second place with 245,582 points, while RG9A completed the podium with 236,534 points.

The top five was completed by EU8U, fourth with 187,272 points, and SM7T, fifth with 186,270 points.

The best Italian result in SOAB-HP came from IT9IVU, who finished 14th worldwide with 667 QSOs, 189 multipliers and 126,063 points.

SOAB Low Power

In the SOAB-LP category, YO6KPT finished first with 945 QSOs, 180 multipliers and 170,100 points.

YR8R was second with 120,407 points, followed by DL1CW with 118,319 points.

The best Italian station was IK8UND, who finished 12th worldwide with 488 QSOs, 134 multipliers and 65,392 points.

SOAB QRP

The SOAB-QRP category was won by OK6OK with 333 QSOs, 123 multipliers and 40,959 points.

HG7J finished second with 21,293 points and HA3HX third with 20,910 points.

Multi Operator Results

In the Multi Operator category, LZ5R recorded the highest score with 1,430 QSOs, 256 multipliers and 366,080 points.

Italy achieved an excellent result with IQ2MI, which finished second worldwide with 802 QSOs, 198 multipliers and 158,796 points.

UA4S completed the podium with 104,622 points.

Single-Band Results

The 2026 results also include competition across the individual HF bands.

Italy recorded two first places in the Single Operator Single Band categories.

On 10 metres, IZ8EPX finished first with 149 QSOs, 31 multipliers and 4,619 points, ahead of RG5A and R3LC.

On 40 metres, IU4JNR took first place with 362 QSOs, 50 multipliers and 18,100 points. LY7T finished second with 8,320 points, followed by 3V8LL with 6,888 points.

The 30th Edition

The publication of the final results completes the 30th edition of the Marconi Memorial Contest HF CW.

The 2026 standings show strong international participation across the All Band, QRP, Multi Operator and Single Band categories, with several notable Italian results including IQ2MI’s second place in Multi Operator and the Single Band victories of IZ8EPX and IU4JNR.
