Regrettably, the renowned and historic CQ magazine has temporarily halted its publications. However, the CQ contests will persist and be overseen by the World Wide Radio Operators Foundation.
It’s truly sad news for radio amateurs like me who grew up with the myth of this magazine, which, at its peak, even published a specialized edition exclusively for contests.
Regrettably, in an era dominated by the cold and impersonal FT8, this news further accentuates the impersonality of our world.
We sincerely hope that both the staff and the publisher can swiftly resume publication.
