The EUHF Championship 2026 (EUHFC) has set a new all-time participation record, with an impressive 1,616 logs received!
The previous record was set in 2025, with 1,528 logs. The 2026 edition therefore represents an increase of 88 logs (+5.8%) in just one year.
Even more significant is the comparison with 2020, when the EUHFC received 1,515 logs. That edition took place during the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdowns, when many amateur radio contests experienced an exceptional increase in participation as operators were forced to stay at home.
Now, six years later, EUHFC has surpassed that extraordinary 2020 figure under normal conditions, reaching a new record of 1,616 logs.
This is a very strong indication of the continued popularity and international appeal of the EUHF Championship.
Congratulations to the EUHFC team and, above all, to the 1,616 stations that took part and submitted their logs!
The EUHFC is growing — and 1,616 is the new benchmark.
73 and good contesting!
