An interesting award organized through the hamaward platform will take place in January 2024. Below is the rules.

- Purpose
Promote friendship between amateur radio, and celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Marconi birth in 2024, involving as many country as possible in a single event. - Award Start / End dates
From 00.00 UTC on January 1 2024 to 23.59 UTC 31 January 2024 - YL / OM QSO
Award is issued following the QSO with the special event stations, in the period indicated in point 2 of this regulation. Special event stations are listed below. 2-ways QSOs with exchange of report are valid (R/S in SSB, R/S/T for CW, R/S for DIGI). - Bands
HF: 80 – 40 – 30 – 20 – 17 – 15 – 12 – 10 mt - Modes
CW, SSB, DIGI (FT8,FT4,RTTY,PSK) - Scores / QSOs
To obtain the WWA 2024 AWARD, a minimum of 100 points is required. A final ranking (Overall ranking List) and Worked All Stations Award is produced for participants making QSOs with special event stations, based on the total sum of points as follows:
CW: 10 points for each CW QSO on each band.
example II1WWA (or any other special station), QSO on 40m CW, 20m CW, 10m CW: 10 + 10 + 10 = 30 points
SSB: 5 points for each SSB QSO on each band.
example II1WWA (or any other special station), QSO in 80m LSB, 15m USB, 10m USB: 5 + 5 + 5 = 15
DIGI: 2 points for each FT8,FT4, 3 points for each RTTY,PSK QSO on each band.

- QSO accreditation
Each special station can be worked only once a day on each band and mode. A “dupe” QSO will not be considered as a penalty.
IT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN TO ASK FOR QSY BY MODE AND / OR BAND. - Worked all Stations Awards
N. 36 Awards will be issued for have worked at least once in the Award time (January 2024) most Special Event Stations.

- Overall Score listings
Points are assigned for QSO with Special Event Stations every day on any award mode or band.
Ranking is calculated by:
- higher score
- greater number of QSOs
- greater number of special stations processed
- more bands
- more modes
- Award release and qsl
To obtain the WWA 2024 AWARD, a minimum of 100 points is required, within the times and methods indicated in these rules. Issue of the Award is free and does not require paper QSLs or QSO confirmations. In case the minimum required 100 points for the award are not reached, each logged operator with at least 1 QSO will still be able to receive the certificate of participation. The Award or Certificate of participation is issued by downloading the file in digital format, in high resolution A4 format, without registration, through the hamaward.cloud platform or qrz.com pages, at the end of the Award. eQsl download will be available in Hamaward.cloud. Sending your log and qsl is not required. - Special prizes for hunters and activators
